1994:  The Transfer Agreement is signed by the Director and Abbot. The Abbey has 10 yrs to do “something” towards reconstruction.  The first load of stones leave San Francisco for Vina.  6 load come at this time (truck and trailer)

1995: The second shipment of stones.  This time it is 5 more loads (truck and trailer)

1996: Phil Sunseri and Abbot Thomas visit Ovila, Huerta, Las Huelgas, and Sacramenia.

1999: The Leadership Committee is formed and meets for the first time May 15.  Later that year Phil Sunseri, Patrick Cole, Margaret Burke, Chris Leininger, and Abbot Thomas visit the abbeys of Ovila, Huerta, Sacramenia, and also a few French Cistercian abbeys.  

2003: Phil Sunseri, Oskar Kempf, Patrick Cole, Jim Huber, Margaret Burke, Leo Guardado, and Doug Patterson visit Ovila to make further notes about the chapter house.
